Oh Sue, what fantastic photographs. I thought the scenery was stunning, although I know travelling through trees for hours on end can be somewhat boring. I was thrilled to see a bit of PEI and "the house" as Anne of Green Gables is still one of my favourite books. Also love all the wooden houses. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Sue, great photos. Canada is one of the few places I'd love to visit one of these days. So glad you had a good time. Looking forward to seeing the whale pics too!
Choclette - I fell in love with those wooden houses - so cute! Although estates of identical houses on the edges of towns don't look so good as the individually built houses.
Debs - The interview was fine. I should have asked you if my answers were OK!
I love your photos! What's the story behind the Hopewell Rocks? Did you find out? They look extraordinary. I adore Canada's big skies, though I 've never been to the Coast, only inland in Alberta and BC. Everything is so big there, and there is such a feeling of space, what a lovely holiday to have had!
Joanna - the Hopewell rocks have been formed by the rising and falling tides. In that area the tide can rise up to 40 feet between low and high tide. Soft sandstone has been washed away, leaving harder rocks in those wonderful formations.

ReplyDeleteLovely photos. Had not realised that there were any Titanic graves. The wooden houses look so interesting and I love the 'Anne of green gables' one.
