Chestnut Chocolate Cookies - Party Style!

Here's another batch of the fabulous  Chocolate Chestnut Cookies,  this time piped into fingers, and prettied up to attend a Christmas party!

A bit of an improvement, I think! I'm also going to confess that it's the first time I've tried chocolate dipping - I should have melted a lot more to get an even dip.

The first batch looked good enough to eat ... this batch looks worthy of falling into a vat full! I'd die a happy girl ;0)

They look so festive, and a great idea to dip the ends in chocolate.

Oh Suelle, these biscuits are so so pretty. I think they look infinitely nicer than your, err, zigzag ones. And they sound so so delicious too.

FB said that the chocolate on the end of the biscuit was a nice extra touch to the flavour too, as well as the appearance.

They look great (although the original ones looked good too). I do like the little snowflakes - very festive! Yes, I always forget how much chocolate you need to melt to get a good depth for dipping - always more than you think and even then the last couple are hard to dip evenly.
